Let' take a closer look at the new user interface of the ZOO administration area and all the usability features we included. For example sorting a large tree of categories can become really annoying. In ZOO 2.0 you can sort categories by drag 'n drop! Isn't this awesome?

For the new ZOO we reworked the entire elements architecture to make them more flexible and easier to use. Of course we added a lot of new elements to extend the possibilities of ZOO. We implemented features like image resizing and caching, repeat functionality and related items.

One of the biggest goals for us during the development was to move from a catalog system to an application builder. With ZOO 2.0 we did the step and it is not a catalog system with a CCK anymore. ZOO 2.0 is a content application engine that lets you create your own apps!

We are very proud to present the brand new, native comment system of ZOO 2.0. We implemented support for Akismet and Mollom to prevent spam as well as Gravatar. And as the icing on the cake we implemented Facebook and Twitter Connect for comment authorization.
